Teaching in North America

Graduate students in North America (Canada and the US) are an integral part of a university. Sometimes they are treated as staff as they are on payroll of the university. They share office space and part of the other facilities that a regular faculty or staff gets. Students who enroll in Masters or PhD program are known as graduate students. Almost all the universities offer graduate program in many disciplines. However, there are some universities that offer only undergraduate degrees, and no graduate degree is offered.

General Forms

$$\int u^n \ dv = \frac{u^{n+1}}{n+1}+C, \quad n \ne -1$$

$$\int \frac{du}{u} = \ln |u| +C$$

$$\int e^u \ du = e^u +C$$

Trigonometric Forms

$$\int \sin u \ du = -\cos u +C$$

$$\int \cos u \ du = \sin u +C$$

$$\int \sec^2 u \ du = \tan u +C$$

$$\int \csc^2 u \ du = -\cot u +C$$

Air France Flight 447, flying from Rio de Janeiro to Paris, went off the radar on the morning of June 1, 2009. The Airbus 330-200 sent an automated message stating the plane had an electrical short circuit as they crossed through a thunderstorm and experienced turbulence over the Atlantic Ocean. The last contact the plane made was at about 8:30 p.m. EST, on the evening of Sunday, May 31, 2009

"Coming to SAS from SPSS" Receives Rave Reviews

SAS Press editor-in-chief Julie Platt shared her thoughts on the importance of this valuable resource. "We frequently receive feedback from customers, particularly in the academic market, that they want to move from SPSS to SAS. Having a guide that covers basic tasks and terminology in SPSS and maps them to the equivalent tasks and terminology in SAS will make that transition as easy as possible. It will be easily accessible.

Last time it was at Institute of Statistical Research and Training (ISRT), University of Dhaka, when I was a graduate student and he was visiting Bangladesh. I knew that he hails from Bangladesh but I did not remember it until I heard him speaking in Bangla with a fellow student at University of Windsor.
